Mentes Para El Futuro (Minds for the Future) is a collaborative organization that draws on the expertise of social workers, psychologists, caseworkers and educators. Our team includes Guatemalans, Americans and Europeans, all who bring their own unique perspectives to Mentes, allowing us to draw upon a multitutde of different clinical techniques.
Alison Kempson Aparicio – Alison Kempson Aparicio holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Stanford University. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has over 20 years of experience working as a psychotherapist with immigrant populations in the United States. She resides with her family in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.
